Dr Tom MCGowan

Dr Tom grew up in Brisbane and graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2017. He has spent years working in the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and gained broad experience in various areas including Infectious diseases, Emergency, General Medicine and Cardiology.

He has also worked in regional Hospitals such as Tweed Heads, Gladstone and Dalby and recently worked in the Redcliffe Emergency department prior to joining Chermside Family Medical Centre as a Registrar.

He has a passion for all aspects of General Practice and aims to empower people to improve their health. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with friends, running and trying to get his lawn to grow!
